Flight Recording in India

April 8, 2014 – Miami, Florida, USA - Schedaero has been recognized as an electronic record-keeping system for Flight and Duty Times in compliance with CAR section 7, series J, part 3 by the Indian Directorate General of Civl Aviation.

Schedaero has been shown to fulfill the requirements placed on operators by the Directorate General of Civl Aviation. These requirements are as follows: Operators must make sure they have a foolproof, transparent, computerized system with an online portal that the DGCA can use to monitor their activities. The system should only be available to the designated officers of the operator and the Directorate General of Civl Aviation. The system must have an edit trail so that any change made to the data may be tracked back to its source.

“Schedaero and its parent company Avinode have always seen India as an interesting market, and with this latest development we are now able to offer a more complete product for the Indian market,” says Johan Sjoberg, Managing Director of Schedaero.

As an online flight operations system, Schedaero is a new concept in the market, giving operators the ability to manage their entire process, from an end client trip request to the pilots’ flightlogs, online. Schedaero is also fully integrated with both the Avinode Marketplace www.avinode.com and Wyvern www.wyvernltd.com making it easy for smaller operators to keep their workflow streamlined and ensure that they are always compliant.

“Having worked with Schedaero for more than a year, I am very pleased with the system and its continued developments.” Says Chris Neaves, Chief of Flight Operations for Thriveni Earthmovers Pvt Ltd. “As an operator in India, we find this latest development to be a great improvement for us and we look forward to working with Schedaero for many years to come.”

Schedaero is built for smaller operators and has no upfront cost for installation, which makes it easy to get started. Over 200 operators and brokers worldwide use Schedaero for their daily operations.
